Plans are underway for Bookmarked! 2013. We hope you'll plan to join us!
Bookmarked! 2013 will be a one-day celebration of reading, music, and the wonders of childhood, featuring local celebrity readers, top acts in family entertainment, and games and arts activities. Proceeds from the event will support the Lucy Daniels Center’s education and child mental health programs.

Where: The Commons at North Hills, Raleigh
When: 9 a.m. - 12 noon
What: Children’s book readings by local celebrity-heroes, live music, and free activities for the whole family. See our exciting slate of talent on our Readers and Performers page!
Why: To build awareness for Lucy’s Book Club (LBC), a free educational outreach program for young children and their parents that seeks to support healthy 
social and emotional development and early literacy skills while also promoting imaginative play, creative thinking, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills. Materials are available for free download on our website.
Our new partnership with 10 Wake and Johnston county child care centers serving children from low- to-moderate-income families allows us to reach even more families with these materials.
